Dear Sirs!

From 13th to 17th of June 2016 in International Congress Center Munich 19th World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing (WCNDT 2016) took place.

The conference was held in the format of sections in which the participants became acquainted with the reports submitted for all NDT methods.

In the framework of the conference was held an exhibition where the company Acoustic Control Systems Ltd. presented the whole range of manufactured products. The particular interest was aroused by the following developments:

- The new electro-magnetic acoustic thickness gauge 1270 with innovative electro - magnetic biasing technology is destined for thickness measurements of objects from steel and aluminium without use of couplants;

- An all-purpose portable ultrasonic flaw detector tomograph 1550 IntroVisor with automatic calculation of the equivalent area of discontinuity, recounted in flat bottom hole. This function allows you correctly estimate the validity of the detected defects, according to the current normative and methods of ultrasonic testing;

- Modernized low-frequency ultrasonic tomograph 1040 MIRA is destined for imaging of the internal structure of objects from concrete, reinforced concrete, different stones and searching conduct ducts, conduits, detection of foreign inclusions, holes, honeycombing, cracks and other defects inside the concrete objects;

The Scanner-Flaw Detector 2072 IntroScan is designed to detect, select the types of flaws and measure parameters of flaws of the pipes base metal and welding defects during non-destructive in-line inspection (ILI) of industrial pipelines (IP) of compressor stations (CS).

Our company has been completing modernization of electro-magnetic acoustic thickness gauge A1270 with innovative electro - magnetic biasing technology.

The main feature of EMA thickness gauge A1270 is absence of a permanent magnet, thus allowing sidestepping of strong adhesion of the transducer to the surfaces of the objects made of ferromagnetic steel, allowing scanning of the object being inspected, and preventing metal chips from sticking to the transducer's protector, thus extending its service life.

Modernized EMA thickness gauge is performed in new body with a high-contrast color display, has improved performance and functionality, as well as the user-friendly interface.

Dear Sirs! 

From 02 to 04 March 2016 in Moscow in Expocentre Fairgrounds the exhibition of equipment and technologies of nondestructive testing "TERRITORY NDT"  was held.

Acoustic Control Systems, Ltd. traditionally took part in the exhibition and presented the whole range of manufactured equipment, including the latest developments, that were planning to be released in 2016. 

The particular attention was paid to the new version of EMA thickness gauge A1270 with innovative electro - magnetic biasing technology in new EMA transducer. One of the main advantage of such technology  is absence of permanent magnet in EMAT, that allows the transducer to avoid strong magnetism between transducer and surface of ferromagnetic steel objects. This allows to inspect object with air gap and avoid accretion of metal chips to the transducer.
